Possible accident scenarios related to the Spent Fuel Pool operating events

After the accident in Fukushima Daiichi NPP, Nuclear Energy Agency Committee on Safety of Installations (OECD/NEA CSNI) initiated activities to address some technical issues. As a one results, Status report Spent Fuel Pools (SFPs) under Loss Cooling Accident Conditions was created. To give valuable contribution post-Fukushima decision making process, brief summaries were produced on:
 - The status SFP and mitigation strategies;
 Assessment current experimental analytical knowledge about loss cooling accidents SFPs their associated strengths weaknesses methods used codes predict evolution assess efficiency different mechanisms for such accidents;
 Identification additional research required gaps understanding relevant phenomenological processes, where tool deficiencies exist, reduce uncertainties this understanding.
